You're an experienced Fund Accountant and you've worked hard to be the best in what you do and you are ready to take on new challenges.
You will collate, calculate, process, investigate and check fund information. You will also produce and sign off on the NAV's of the specific Funds or Entities that the company administers. You will need to produce financial statements on a timely basis as well as prepare and perform weekly and monthly cash and stock reconciliations. You will need to monitor asset pricing and pricing sources for corporate actions to ensure securities are updated and valued correctly.
You'll be joining one of the biggest investment administration firms in Cape Town that service clients all over the world. They focus on providing a service that is both reliable and flexible while focusing on being innovative. The role is mostly office-based in Century City with the option to work hybrid at a later stage once you're fully trained. You'll be surrounded by people who are as qualified as you are and who are wanting to explore the world of investments. Your leaders are mentors who have been in the industry for many years.
You will need to have an Accounting Degree and at least 2 years of experience working as a Fund Accountant. You will be working with a lot of NAV's so attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills are essential
