What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You'll lead the end-to-end development of scalable full-stack applications using React and Node.js, driving frontend excellence and backend robustness. From crafting engaging, responsive user interfaces to building secure APIs and microservices, you'll play a key role in shaping the next generation of a gamified platform. You'll work closely with product teams and data scientists to integrate AI/ML features-like personalisation, predictive analytics, and fraud detection-directly into the platform. With a focus on performance, architecture, and innovation, you'll also mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll need
You'll bring 5+ years' experience in full-stack development, with deep expertise in React (Hooks, Context API), Node.js, and modern state management. Your frontend skills include HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind, and tools like Webpack or Vite. On the backend, you're confident with Express, REST/GraphQL APIs, and databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB. You're experienced with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes). AI/ML integration experience and familiarity with AI APIs or Python scripting are a big plus.
