About The Employer:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage fixed asset management on site, ensuring accurate records and compliance.
- Exercise cost control over operational expenses to optimize resource allocation.
- Develop and monitor budgets to support business objectives.
- Oversee bill of materials (BOM), product costing, and margin management processes.
- Supervise the procurement of raw materials, including managing imports, forex, and customs clearance.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze and present monthly management accounts, providing insights for decision-making.
- Implement strategies for effective stock control of raw materials and finished goods, including managing returns and credits.
- Conduct waste reporting and analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Manage logistics and warehousing costs, developing cost-to-serve models for efficiency.
- Oversee pallet stock management and optimize related processes.
- Ensure accurate processing of salaries and wages.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom), Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years post-articles experience or 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in systems implementations to enhance financial processes.
- Prior experience in the FMCG or Manufacturing sector is preferred.
