About the position
A well-established construction company is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, tendering processes, and project cost control. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact on project success.
Core Responsibilities:
- Determine scope of work and material requirements from technical drawings
- Work with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive quotations
- Track expenses and ensure adherence to financial targets
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers
- Compile project programmes and cashflow forecasts
- Accurate quantity measurements from site to plan
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/BTech in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- 8-15 years experience in Estimating/Quantity Surveying roles
- Software proficiency: MS Excel, Candy, MS Project
- BOQ development and project scoping
- Professional registration with QS-related bodies
- Contract negotiation experience
