You're a highly skilled electrical engineer with a passion for designing cutting-edge renewable energy systems. You'll take the lead in designing high-end commercial and industrial solar power systems, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and industry best practices. Your role will involve conducting site inspections, developing cost projections, and accurately simulating system performance. You'll also create detailed construction drawings and oversee commissioning processes to ensure seamless project execution. Beyond design, you'll guide and mentor a team of engineers and interns, review technical work, and provide expert approval on compliance matters. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping innovative, high-performance renewable energy solutions.

You must be a registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech Eng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa. A degree in Electrical Engineering is essential, along with extensive experience in renewable energy system design. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices is required, as well as expertise in managing multiple projects. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills will set you apart in this role.
