About the position
Hire Resolve's client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in building services to join their team in Cape Town.
This role requires a highly experienced professional to lead and manage complex projects, ensuring top-quality design and execution in various engineering domains, including reticulation and renewable energy sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee the design and project execution supervision in the consulting engineering industry.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in the reticulation industry.
- Drive design and project execution supervision in the solar or wind sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration and execution.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and staff.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Consulting Engineering industry after obtaining a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Over 10 years of design and project execution supervision experience in the reticulation industry.
- At least 5 years of design and project execution supervision experience in the solar or wind sector.
- Professional registration as a Certified Energy Manager is preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and completing complex engineering projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
