About the position
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a proven track record in large-scale infrastructure projects? We're seeking a dynamic Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client based in Johannesburg.
Qualifications:
- BSc/BEng/BTech in Electrical Engineering is essential.
- Professionally registered with ECSA (PrEng or PrTech) or actively eligible for professional registration.
Experience:
- At least 7+ years of experience in:
- Sound experience in Electrical Transmission Design Practices.
- Substation commissioning
- HV and EHV Design/Transmission Design.
- Computer proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/Microstation, and specialized substation software such as CDEGS/ETAP/Digsilent.
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- A natural ability to take initiative and solve complex problems through analytical thinking.
- Capable of working effectively with cross-regional teams, with a strong focus on delivering excellence.
