About the position

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on residential and commercial building projects in Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional to lead and contribute to the design, implementation, and delivery of high-quality building services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design and engineering for residential and commercial buildings
• Produce detailed electrical designs, specifications, and calculations
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development initiatives

Requirements:

• BEng in Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years' experience in building services electrical engineering
• Strong experience with lighting, power, low voltage, and building automation systems
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
• Experience in both residential and commercial projects is highly desirable
