About the position
Our client in the tool manufacturing industry is looking for a Qualified Senior Draughtsman.
Duties and responsibles
- Designing of products and components for the Factory Value Streams.
- CNC Programming for the Factory Value Streams.
- Creation of drawings for tools manufactured in the Tool, Jig & Die.
- Research and Development as per Sale/Marketing requests.
- Factory layout and workflow drawings, as required by Management from time to time.
- The issue and control of drawings, including change control, and back-ups.
- Ensuring that design software is kept up to date and compliant.
- Ensuring that Quality Management System requirements are maintained in the Technical Drawing Office.
- Any other reasonable task as requested by the Technical Manager
Requirements
- Edgecam 2D / 3D. [URL Removed] (Design & Drafting, Mill, Turn, Wire, incl. post-processors)
- Autodesk Inventor 2020. (Manufacturing Suite)
- Tool and Mould design knowledge.
- Reading precision measuring instruments.
JOB EXPERIENCE:
- At least 10 years’ experience in the Tool, Jig and Die design and manufacturing, and/or related Industry.
