About the position

Senior Database Developer - Join a National Financial Monitoring Authority

Location: Centurion, Pretoria
Salary: Annual TCTC
Type: Permanent

Our client, the country's premier financial monitoring and integrity body that plays a critical role in safeguarding our economy - is looking for a highly skilled Senior Database Developer ready to make a real impact.

You'll be part of a mission-driven team working on high-performance, scalable, and secure database solutions that directly influence national financial security, compliance, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and optimise complex, high-performance databases
  • Build robust data models, warehouses, reports, and dashboards
  • Lead data governance, quality assurance, and migration initiatives
  • Mentor junior resources while shaping the FIC's future data landscape

What We're Looking For:

  • ICT degree or equivalent qualification
  • 6+ years in SQL development, database design & optimisation (MSSQL essential)
  • Strong experience in Power BI, SRSS, and dashboarding
  • Hands-on expertise in data warehousing, modelling, and migrations
  • Advantage: Cloud database solutions (Azure)
