You're a strategic thinker and confident communicator, comfortable operating incomplex, multi-domain environments. You combine sharp analytical skills with apragmatic, delivery-focused mindset. Resilient under pressure and regulatoryscrutiny, you're someone who thrives in fast-paced settings where detail, structure, and accountability matter.
You'll lead the design and execution of an enterprise-wide data governancemodel for a new digital-only bank built on Data Mesh principles. You'll define governance strategies, implement federated frameworks, and ensure financial data integrity across domains. Your work will directly support regulatory compliance, financial accuracy, and audit readiness. Responsibilities include setting data quality, lineage, and access standards, governing master/reference data, embedding policy-as-code into DevOps pipelines, and guiding stakeholders through governance best practices. With influence across Finance, Risk,Compliance, and Engineering, you'll be central to building trust in the bank's data platform.
Our client is launching a regulated, digital-only bank backed by cutting-edge architecture and an ambitious, forward-thinking culture. With a strong focus on financial accuracy, regulatory alignment, and automation, this organisation is building a robust and scalable data ecosystem. You'll join a globally collaborative team passionate about data governance, compliance, and innovation.
You'll have senior-level experience in data governance or enterprise architecture, ideally within regulated financial services. You're confident designing federated models and implementing controls around metadata, lineage, reconciliation, and audit. You understand policy-as-code, Data Mesh principles, and how to embed governance in CI/CD environments. A BSc in a related field is essential, along with experience working with platforms like DataHub, ApacheKafka, Trino, and GitLab.
A chance to shape the data backbone of a new digital bank-while working with autonomy, leadership influence, and a modern tech stack. The role is remote-first, offering flexibility and high impact.
