About the position
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- MRICS or equivalent professional membership (preferred).
- Minimum 8-10 years post-qualification experience in cost management.
- Strong track record in the commercial real estate and property sector, with specific experience in residential and mixed-use developments.
- Demonstrable experience in:
- Pre-contract services (feasibility, estimating, cost reporting, BOQ preparation).
- Post-contract services (valuations, change management, contract administration, claims).
- Procurement strategies and multiple package procurement (FIDIC experience essential).
- Proven ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships with confidence.
- Experience producing and presenting high-quality reports, estimates, and tender documentation.
- Advanced skills in CostX, WinQS, DimX, and BIM (must be able to take-off measurements in DimX and prepare estimates in WinQS).
- Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and cost management processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must have a valid passport and police clearance and be able and willing to travel across European regions as required.
