Our client is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager be a pivotal figure in managing the full lifecycle of our supply and construction contracts for cutting-edge renewable energy projects.
Based in Johannesburg you will be the go-to expert, ensuring contractual integrity, mitigating risks, and fostering seamless collaboration across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do:

• From providing crucial input for RFPs to supporting timely contract execution.
• Lead negotiations, redline contracts, conduct risk assessments, and determine mitigation strategies for various agreements.
• Monitor multiple contracts, validate invoices, draft new orders, and prepare amendments to ensure compliance and cost control.
• Support project managers in budget preparation, cost verification, and financial reporting, including managing change orders and claims.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 8 years in contract management, project management, or legal roles within an engineering and construction environment, ideally on large-scale projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, BCom, BCom Law, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Solar/Wind projects is highly valued.
• 1-2 years in project financing and 2-3 years in budget preparation/management is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• PMP, RMP, CAPM (PMI), or CCM (IACCM) certification is a bonus.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
