About the position
Applicants must have the following requirements:
Must have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree or a Bachelor of Science Degree, or a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Law.
Must be registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor, Professional Construction Manager or Project Management Professional.
Must have 10+ years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a senior commercial or contracts role on projects > R100 m.
Must have demonstrated success in negotiating final accounts and defending EOT claims.
Must have In-depth knowledge of South African construction law and standard forms of contract.
Must be proficient in CCS Candy, BuildSmart and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables & Power Query).
