About the position
DBN000124: SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER – PRETORIA
Our client, a leader in the civil engineering construction sector, is currently recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer to strengthen their team.
Purpose of the job:
Lead and oversee project design and execution for housing & property developments.
Required Qualifications:
- BSc Eng Degree
- Registered PR Eng
- Must have graduated from a top South African university
- Achieved an average of at least 55% or above for all subjects written
Technical Competencies & Experience:
- Proven track record of managing big projects on their own.
- Experience in Civil3D and Idas software.
- 2 – 5 years Post PR Eng with housing development experience.
- Experience with sewer plans, master stormwater plans and bulk infrastructure.
- Experience managing & leading others.
Behavioural Competencies:
- Should be a good leader & influencer.
- Have effective communication skills.
- Must be curious & driven to solve problems.
- Must be client & stakeholder focused.
- Should be a strong mentor & coach.
