About the position

DBN000124: SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER – PRETORIA
Our client, a leader in the civil engineering construction sector, is currently recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer to strengthen their team.

Purpose of the job:
Lead and oversee project design and execution for housing & property developments.

Required Qualifications:

  • BSc Eng Degree
  • Registered PR Eng
  • Must have graduated from a top South African university
  • Achieved an average of at least 55% or above for all subjects written

Technical Competencies & Experience:

  • Proven track record of managing big projects on their own.
  • Experience in Civil3D and Idas software.
  • 2 – 5 years Post PR Eng with housing development experience.
  • Experience with sewer plans, master stormwater plans and bulk infrastructure.
  • Experience managing & leading others.

Behavioural Competencies:

  • Should be a good leader & influencer.
  • Have effective communication skills.
  • Must be curious & driven to solve problems.
  • Must be client & stakeholder focused.
  • Should be a strong mentor & coach.
