Are you a highly experienced and professionally registered Civil Engineer with a passion for municipal infrastructure planning? Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the planning, development, and optimisation of critical civil infrastructure systems. This pivotal role involves comprehensive master planning, feasibility studies, and strategic implementation, significantly impacting community development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive civil infrastructure master plans and catchment management strategies. Optimize existing infrastructure networks.
- Compile services reports for land use applications, ensuring compliance with municipal policies and standards.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams across water, sewer, roads, and stormwater infrastructure.
- Conduct detailed hydraulic modeling and simulations for stormwater, water, and sewer systems and perform floodline determinations, design attenuation systems, and evaluate regional infrastructure upgrade requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/BSc Civil Engineering).
- Professional Engineer registration (Pr.Eng) with ECSA.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Specialized experience in municipal infrastructure and stormwater management.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software and infrastructure design tools (e.g., Autodesk Civil 3D, Devotech iDAS, Autodesk SSA).
- Strong knowledge of municipal policies, development controls, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with catchment management and flood risk assessment.
