Senior Change Manager
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (6 months)
Purpose of Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Change Manager to lead the people-side of a major new system embedment within a banking environment. The role is critical to ensuring successful adoption of the new system across internal teams, external partners, customers, and third parties through structured change management, targeted communications, stakeholder engagement, training, and behavioural reinforcement.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end change management for the new system embedment, ensuring smooth transition and high adoption rates.
- Apply formal change management methodologies and tools (e.g., PROSCI) to plan, execute, and monitor the change programme.
- Engage and manage multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, external 3rd parties, customers, and strategic partners.
- Develop and deliver focused, impactful communications to support the change journey at all levels of the organisation.
- Design and implement internal change management processes and activities to drive system and solution embedment.
- Lead training initiatives to equip users with the necessary skills and confidence to adopt the new system.
- Identify and apply behavioural science techniques to incentivise adoption, trigger desired behaviours, and sustain change momentum throughout the programme.
RequirementsEssential
- Proven Senior Change Manager with excellent understanding of Change Management as a formal discipline.
- Demonstrated experience using structured methodologies and tools (PROSCI certification or equivalent is essential).
- Significant track record of delivering change on large-scale programmes within complex environments.
- Direct experience managing change in the Banking / Financial Services sector (highly advantageous).
- Proven ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including external 3rd parties, customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Hands-on experience in system and solution embedment, including communications planning, stakeholder management, and training delivery.
- Strong understanding of how to incentivise people through the change curve and effectively trigger and reinforce new behaviours.
- Expert in formal change management frameworks and tools.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels and external parties.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to produce clear, focused messaging.
- Behavioural change expertise – ability to design interventions that drive adoption and sustainment.
- Highly organised with proven programme-level change delivery experience.
- Ability to work at pace in a fast-moving banking environment.
