JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and curate a balanced, high-performing range across multiple beauty categories, in line with TFG Beauty's growth strategy and customer insights.
- Collaborate closely with Planners and Brand Teams to analyse sales patterns, market shifts, and global beauty trends, driving data-backed decisions.
- Formulate departmental strategies that deliver financial KPIs, customer relevance, and brand differentiation.
- Negotiate effectively to maximize profitability, margin, and supplier partnerships.
- Champion localality, sustainability, and innovation, contributing to category growth and supplier development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across suppliers, internal functions, and store operations.
- Lead product innovation to differentiate in the Branded environment.
- Demonstrate agility by managing multiple product lifecycles, balancing creativity with commercial discipline.
- Travel locally and internationally to identify new trends, brands, and product opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma, Graduate Degree, or Post-Graduate qualification (Retail / Buying / Business / Fashion / Marketing preferred).
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a Buyer - beauty, cosmetics, grooming, or related lifestyle categories highly advantageous.
- Solid understanding of the retail buying cycle.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and business reporting tools.
- Strong financial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of managing multiple suppliers and delivering against sales and profit KPIs.
