About the position
Business Development / Account Manager
Reporting to the Head of Sales
Identify and acquire new key clients that will be suitable for our business models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive travel around the country
- Research the industry and identify new potential clients
- Plan and coordinate business reviews, resource allocations, organizational structures and financial analysis
- Develop, present and close proposals to potential clients
- Leading the commercial negotiation of services contracts with clients
- Successful execution and implementation of bringing new clients on board. Collaborating between the various in-house departments
- Set up new processes, reporting and reporting structures, timelines, commercials and in field activation processes in line with the business processes
- Training new Key Account Manager to manage the new clients once the handover is done
- Project manage the onboarding of new clients to ensure smooth rollout for expansion
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors and marketing conditions in the relevant sectors
Skills and Competences:
- Degree/NQF L7 in Marketing/Business Management will be beneficial
- 5-7 years new business development experience in a managerial role
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain relationships with new clients
- Experience in leading projects in business strategy and development
- Experience in working closely with a teame
