About the position
My client based in Cape Town is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst (WMS) to join their team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities
- Develop and define the Business Analysis approach and strategy for project delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather business requirements.
- Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements.
- Produce high-quality business analysis documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
- Analyse and document current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") business processes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and conduct gap analyses.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Manage and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution, defect management, and sign-off processes.
- Provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle to ensure business needs are met.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certified Business Analyst qualification.
- Minimum of 8 years' Business Analysis experience.
- Proven experience within the Retail industry.
- Strong experience working within Supply Chain and Distribution Centre (DC) environments.
- Experience working on Warehouse Management System (WMS) projects.
- Solid understanding and practical experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex business and system requirements.
