Senior Bridge Draughtsperson

About the position

Our client, a well-established consulting engineering firm, is seeking a skilled Structural / Bridge Draughtsperson to join their team.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in the production of technical drawings for building and engineered structures. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project delivery through the preparation of accurate and high-quality draughting documentation while collaborating closely with engineers, project leaders, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience working on major Bridge projects
• Minimum 10 years structural draughting experience in concrete and structural steel
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated to produce accurate drawings to a high standard within set deadlines
• Identifies and understands technical issues, problems and opportunities
• Working with project guidelines and standards
• Complete quality drawings and documents within a required timeframe

Recommended Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• National Diploma (Civil Engineering or equivalent)
• Ability to work well within team and positive attitude to your work
• Strive to deliver projects on time and to budget
• Understand the use and importance of standards in the application of software tools
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software (advantage)
• Reinforcement Detailing experience (advantage)
• Develop 3D models in the selected modelling software i.e. Revit (advantage)
