About the position
OVERVIEW We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our health products distribution company. This is a BBEEE appointment. The successful candidate will manage the full accounting function to trial balance, work from a pleasant office environment in the southern suburbs of Cape Town and can negotiate flexible structured hours, based on capacity and operational requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED SKILLS and ATTRIBUTES COMPANY OVERVIEW Our SME is an established provider of imported health products with 25 years industry experience, based in the southern suburbs of Cape Town. APPLICATION PROCESS Interested candidates should submit their CV with a cover letter, outlining their experience and suitability for the role.
Either a 3-year advanced diploma in accounting, or similar, from a recognised institution, with transcript available.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in the workforce.
Proven track record of managing full bookkeeping to trial balance for multiple entities.
Strong knowledge of the VAT Act and experience with its application to SMEs.
Demonstrated experience with stock and inventory management.
Proficiency in Sage Business Online and advanced MS Excel skills.
