Senior Bookkeeper

About the position

A dynamic organization based in Westmead, Pinetown is looking to employ a Senior Bookkeeper with 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Diploma / B.Com Accounting (Highly Advantageous)
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• MS Office & Pastel (Advanced)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Valid Driver’s License and Own Vehicle
• Prepare and process employee payroll on a regular schedule  
• Headcount of 100 + employees
• Full function debtors and creditors
• Processing journal entries
• Maintain and update financial records using accounting software
• Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Issue invoices to customers and follow up on outstanding receivables
• Provide financial summaries to management or external accountants
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns by ensuring accurate financial records
