About the position
Our client, a leading industrial automation business, is seeking 3 Senior Automation Technicians to support a strong pipeline of Automotive and Food & Beverage projects. This is a hands-on technical specialist role focused on PLCs, robotics, commissioning, and advanced fault-finding, with local and international project exposure.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree, Diploma, or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field
- Formal PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff) and/or Robotics (FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa) training
- 3-5 years' hands-on industrial automation experience
- Proven FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience coaching junior team members
- Automotive manufacturing experience advantageous
Advantageous Skills:- EPLAN Electric P8 / Pro Panel
- Robot simulation software (e.g., Process Simulate)
- SolidWorks
- Safety systems (light curtains, scanners, safety relays/PLCs)

Key Responsibilities:- Lead installation and integration of robotic systems and automated equipment
- Execute PLC-related work, including panel assembly, wiring, I/O terminations, and commissioning support
- Perform advanced fault-finding, commissioning, and system integration
- Manage cable installation, terminations, and technical documentation
- Maintain EPLAN mark-ups and as-built documentation
- Mentor junior technicians and apprentices
- Support local and international project deployments
