What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day:

• Leading audits for listed companies (or equivalent), with support from Managers on larger projects (the Partner will still have overall responsibility).
• Overseeing all aspects of the audit process.
• Mentoring and developing team members, helping with their career goals, and contributing to performance management.
• Ensuring your audit clients are a profitable part of the business.
• Liaising with internal departments on risk, technical matters, and more.
• Contributing to the smooth running of the local office.
• Supporting Partners in winning new business through pitches and networking.
• Identifying and pursuing new audit opportunities.
• Helping to implement new business strategies.
• Getting involved in key client relationships.
• Developing specialist knowledge in a specific area.
• Engaging directly with clients on complex audit and technical decisions.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Ideally, you'll have:

• CA (SA)
• Solid experience delivering audit and assurance services to significant companies, including listed ones (like JSE equivalents) and those with international operations.
• A strong grasp of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial reporting standards would be ideal nut not madatrory
• Experience in guiding and developing teams (not just audit-specific), including project support, mentoring, feedback, and even involvement in recruitment.
• An eye for new business opportunities and the ability to turn them into wins.
• A proven track record of managing multiple projects and teams effectively.
