Senior Associate / VP - Investment Banking

About the position

A leading investment advisory firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate / VP to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior investment banking professional to lead complex M&A and equity financing transactions, mentor junior team members, and work on high-profile transactions across Africa and international markets.

Experience Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years' overall working experience, including at least 6 years in investment banking
• Proven experience leading M&A, equity financing, IPOs, private placements, and cross-border transactions
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and financial analysis skills
• Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
• Excellent client relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, transaction execution, and commercial legislation
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
