Senior Associate - Insurance Coverage Disputes

About the position

Our Client is looking for a bright, ambitious, highly motivated lawyer, with experience in complex insurance coverage disputes matters, playing the role of a senior within the team and with experience from a reputable law firm.

• Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature;
• Ability to handle time sensitive matters;
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects;
• Excellent organisational and time management skills;
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in South Africa
• 5+ years of disputes experience
• Excellent academic credentials
• Credible work history with a proven track record of playing a senior role on a matter.
• Proficient to advanced user of Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Proficient to advanced user of PDF programs such as Adobe, Nuance/Kofax, etc.
• Applicant must be detailed oriented and highly motivated with the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Impressive command of grammar and punctuation
• Must have experience with FileSite, iManage, or equivalent document management system.
