Play a key role in shaping South Africa's renewable energy market by originating and structuring innovative power purchase agreements. Is this you? What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll originate, structure and negotiate renewable energy sales transactions, focusing on Power Purchase Agreements and innovative energy products for corporate and industrial clients. This includes developing and managing PPAs, driving bilateral offtake and wheeling solutions, and leading negotiations with private offtakers, traders and aggregators. You'll analyse market developments and regulatory changes, identify new commercial opportunities, and support bidding processes for private offtake tenders. Working closely with cross-functional teams including development, engineering, grid, procurement and financial modelling, you'll help design competitive energy solutions while presenting proposals to senior leadership for approval. What you'll need You'll bring 5-7 years' experience in sales, tendering, project management or advisory, ideally within energy or infrastructure. A relevant degree is required, along with a strong understanding of commercial drivers within renewable energy. You should have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent MS Office proficiency, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships. Experience or knowledge of large-scale renewable energy project development would be advantageous.
