About the position
An excellent opportunity for a young energetic Senior Administrator - Corporate Governance based in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs. To provide professional, consistent, end-to-end corporate and administration services to an allocated portfolio of clients, in a multi-skilled team - maintaining strong relationships with key individuals to enhance, retain and grow the business.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the Companies Act, Trust Property Control Act, FICA, FATCA/CRS, etc;
- Knowledge of Corporate Governance and Trust Administration;
- Ability to work in a multi-jurisdictional environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to take ownership;
- Ability to remain highly motivated;
- Excellent team player and able to work independently;
- Microsoft Office Suite of programs and good overall computer skills to learn and understand new systems;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to perform duties with limited supervision;
- Deadline orientated with good attention to detail;
- Hands-on, proactive approach.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership, responsibility and accountability for all transactions, communication and enquiries for allocated clients
- Follow processes and procedures, working according to set quality standards and keeping to prescribed turn-around times, on a daily basis, which will include but will not be limited to:
- Incorporation / liquidation of companies;
- Registration / termination of trusts;
- Acting as Company representative Director, Trustee, Local Representative and Public Officer on client entities;
- Maintenance of company records in accordance with legislative, internal compliance and other statutory requirements ensuring that filing (electronic and hard copy) is maintained daily;
- Preparation for and attendance at Board and Committee meetings;
- Ensuring regulatory compliance with Companies Act, Trust Property Control Act, FICA, FATCA/CRS, etc. as relevant;
- Review and/or preparation of minutes, resolutions and general correspondence;
- Review of annual financial statements;
- Regular liaison with third parties including accountants/tax consultants/auditors/lawyers, CIPC, South African Revenue Services and the Master of the High Court;
- Keeping clients informed of regulatory changes and updates;
- Develop and maintain sound relationships with clients and third parties;
- Ensure that clients consistently receive the highest level of service;
- Ensure the correct invoicing of client matters and collection;
- Meet personal and team key performance targets;
- Provide support to all departments within the team and the wider Company Group.
