About the position

Opportunity for a Senior Accountant
My client, a successful, well-established FMCG organisation, is currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant. Operating for over 20 years in the South African market, our client has grown into a market-leading provider of premier consumer brands. The successful candidate will manage core financial operations, drives business insights, and ensures absolute compliance across the finance function.
 
Duties:

  • Budgeting and forecasts
  • Financial analysis.
  • Reporting
  • Lead the month-end & year-end closing process
  • Control & Compliance
  • Prepare and process payments
  • Reconciliation
  • Inventory valuation

 
Education and experience:

  • CA(SA)
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial environment.
  • Prior exposure to FMCG or manufacturing is highly advantageous.
