About the position

A global industry leader within a highly specialised manufacturing and distribution environment is looking to appoint a technically strong Senior Accountant to join their finance team.

This opportunity is ideal for a driven finance professional who enjoys working within a multinational structure where accuracy, technical excellence, and analytical thinking are highly valued. The successful candidate will be exposed to an international reporting environment and will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity across the business.

Key Requirements:

  • BCom degree with completed articles.
  • Minimum 5 years’ post-articles experience.
  • Big 4 exposure highly advantageous.
  • Strong technical accounting skills essential.
  • Experience within multinational or international reporting environments.
  • Strong costing and balancing experience.
  • Exposure to AFS preparation and financial reporting.
  • SAP and/or Hyperion experience advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports and management accounts.
  • Assist with annual financial statements and audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with international reporting standards and group requirements.
  • Perform costing analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Work closely with operational and commercial teams to improve reporting accuracy.
  • Assist with financial controls, governance, and process improvements.
  • Support reporting into multinational group structures.
