About the position
DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSYS:
As a Senior Accountant you will play an integral role in the financial management of the factory. Reporting to the GM, this role will be required to be "hands - on" involved in day to day operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bcom degree in Accounting
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles
- Experience in a financial accounting role
- Experience in the Automotive/Manufacturing/Mining sectors will be preferred
- Must live close to the East Rand, or be willing to relocate
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compile and present annual budgets
- Financial reporting
- Monthly management reports
- Budgets vs Actuals
- Product Costings
- Prepare production schedules
- Stock / inventory management
- BOM's
- Internal controls
- Fixed asset register
