About the position
Hire Resolve’s esteemed client in the Audit and Accounting Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Accountant with SAIPA Articles, to join their Office in Ruimsig!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual financial statements.
- Manage client relationships.
- Supervise and train junior staff.
- Ensure statutory compliance.
- Utilize accounting software.
- Manage payroll and employee tax.
- Perform financial analysis.
Requirements:- Hold a BComm Accounting Degree or equivalent.
- Have completed SAIPA articles.
- Possess 5 years’ post-article experience in an accounting practice environment.
- Demonstrate supervisory and client management experience.
- Manage multiple staff and meet monthly targets.
- Train junior staff.
- Prepare working papers and annual financial statements for all entities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Caseware Working Papers, Pastel Partner, Sage Online, and Xero.
- Have knowledge of all statutory requirements for SARS, COIDA, and the Department of Labour.
- Possess experience with E-Filing and Easyfile.
- Have payroll and employee tax knowledge.
