About the position
ENVIRONMENT:
A forward-thinking Digital Agency seeks the expertise of a Senior Account Manager & Strategist who can confidently lead client relationships, reporting and strategic direction across a portfolio of digital clients. This role sits at the centre of everything - owning feedback loops, performance reporting, and delivery alignment, while also contributing to strategic thinking and growth opportunities. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that work moves efficiently between client and internal teams, that reporting is clear and actionable, and that clients feel consistently informed, supported and confident in the work being delivered. The successful candidate will have 4+ years as an Account Manager within a Digital Marketing agency with proven experience managing multiple clients simultaneously & solid understanding of Digital Marketing channels (Paid, SEO, Content, Web). You must also be proficient with Asana, Everhour, Canva, Google Suite, Slack, Loom, Looker Studio, Google Analytics and Google Ads; Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok; and AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT.
DUTIES:
Client & Account Management -
- Own day-to-day client relationships across multiple accounts.
- Lead status calls, reporting sessions and feedback discussions.
- Manage all feedback loops between client and internal teams.
- Ensure clear communication, alignment and expectations at all times.
Reporting & Performance Tracking -
- Build, manage and present performance reports (monthly, weekly where needed).
- Translate data into clear insights and recommended actions.
- Work with platforms such as:
? Google Analytics
? Looker Studio
? Meta Ads Manager
? Google Ads
- Ensure tracking, UTMs and data accuracy are in place.
Strategy Support -
- Contribute to digital strategies across paid media, SEO, content, and web.
- Turn performance data into actionable optimisation plans.
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Execution & Delivery Oversight -
- Work closely with internal teams (Paid Media, Content, Design, Dev).
- Ensure deliverables are on time and to a high standard.
- QA outputs before they go to clients.
- Step in when needed to keep work moving.
Strategy, Creative & Content Direction -
- Develop clear, actionable strategy documents that guide campaign direction and execution.
- Write and refine short-form copy (ad copy, social posts, headlines, CTAs) across platforms.
- Write and support long-form copy (website pages, landing pages, blogs, campaign messaging).
- Contribute to and optimise ad campaign copy across Meta, Google, and other channels.
- Provide creative direction to ensure messaging and visuals align with client objectives.
- Write detailed content and creative briefs for internal teams (Design, Paid Media, Content).
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and performance-driven messaging across all deliverables.
Project Management -
- Manage timelines, deliverables and priorities across accounts.
- Facilitate weekly check-ins or sprint-style workflows.
- Keep projects on track and proactively flag risks.
Commercial Awareness -
- Understand client budgets and performance expectations.
- Identify upsell or expansion opportunities.
- Support proposal development and scope planning.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ Years as an Account Manager within a Digital Marketing agency.
- Proven experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.
- Strong experience in reporting and performance analysis.
- Solid understanding of Digital Marketing channels (Paid, SEO, Content, Web).
- Strong reporting and analytical ability.
- Comfortable working across a range of platforms including Asana, Everhour, Canva, Google Suite, Slack, Loom; reporting and analytics tools such as Looker Studio, Google Analytics and Google Ads; Paid and Social platforms including Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok; and AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT.
