Job Title: Senior/Junior Paraplanner

Job Description:

We are seeking both Senior and Junior Paraplanners to join our team. The Junior Paraplanner will assist in various tasks under the supervision of the Senior Paraplanner. The role involves learning and implementing financial planning strategies, maintaining client relationships, and supporting the Senior Paraplanner in achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and maintaining client relationships.
• Support Senior Paraplanner in providing customized financial advice.
• Communicate with clients via phone and email, ensuring the reputation of the firm is upheld.
• Gain knowledge of tax laws, estate duty, and other financial regulations.
• Analyze economic implications for investment strategies.
• Utilize in-house tools for accurate calculations and reporting.
• Prepare documentation and records of advice.
• Coordinate appointments and manage diary systems.
• Monitor client portfolios and communicate updates.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (NQF Level 5) required.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (NQF 8) preferred.
• Certified Financial Planner status advantageous.
• Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans).
• RE5 Examination essential.
• Registered FAIS representative.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial services.
• Knowledge of tax laws, investments, and insurance products.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
