About the position

Our client, a boutique but busy produce farm, seeks to employ a semi-skilled mechanic with a Code 10 drivers licence, who is able to maintain farm equipment and double as a driver when required, to join this progressive and expanding professional team. 
 
Please note that only candidates resident in Paarl/Wellington, with a clear criminal record and contactable references will be considered
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:  

  • You will have a valid Code 10 driver’s license, coupled with 2-5 years experience in farm equipment and minor diesel vehicle maintenance
  • You will be technically minded, be able to problem solve effectively and be able to conduct minor maintenance such as oil changes, changing tyres, etc
  • Working knowledge of workshop practices and a neat working style is essential
  • You must be able to speak English and Afrikaans.
  • You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
