About the position

Purpose of the job:

To protect the assets of the Company, preserve the license of the Company & to ensure that the security of the company, employees & customers is maintained.

Essential job function

Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• Must have a PSIRA Grade C qualification

Experience:

• Previous experience in Surveillance or Gaming is essential
• Previous experience in law enforcement (e.g. SAPS, Security, Defense force etc) will be advantageous

Job requirements:

• To observe & execute at all times the conditions & requirements of the Departmental Internal Control Procedure Manual.
• Patrol all Casino areas, identify potential security or safety hazards & report, to ensure the safety & protection of employees & customers
• The physical safeguarding of assets transported on the casino floor including but not limited to keys, playing cards, unclaimed money, emergency clearances, float escorts, Table fills & credits
• Monitor, investigate & document all suspicious/undesirable/dangerous behaviours & transactions noted on the Gaming areas
• Observing operations to ensure compliance to Departmental & Company policies, procedures & gaming regulatory requirements. Document such activities & providing appropriate feedback to Management
• The identification & removal of any person who is prohibited from entering the Casino.
• Monitor & detection of cheating, embezzlement & other illegal activities.
• Provide all customers & employees with the highest level of customer service & assistance to ensure that a unique customer experience is achieved at all times through displaying the four key behaviours of the Customer service model
