About the position
Our client in the financial space is seeking a high-calibre Security Engineer to strengthen and secure its enterprise network and cloud security landscape. This role is critical in protecting high-value financial systems within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage FortiGate Firewalls (policy management, IPS, VPNs, SD-WAN).
- Deploy and optimise Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) for secure internet access and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
- Drive Zero Trust security initiatives across hybrid environments.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and incidents.
- Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and internal governance standards.
- Perform firewall rule reviews, risk assessments, and security hardening.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet and Zscaler technologies.
- Solid understanding of network security architecture and cloud security controls.
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments preferred.
- Proven ability to operate in high-availability, mission-critical environments.
