Minimum Requirements
Tertiary qualification
5+ years' work experience in a manufacturing environment and 2+ years on managerial level

Overview of position

• Reporting to the Production Manager and leading X3 Shift Supervisors.
• Design and implement efficient production systems, methods and workflows.
• Monitor productivity, output and man-hour performance; investigate variances and implement corrective actions.
• Develop improvement plans with Production, Engineering and Service teams to optimise processes, machinery and productivity.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with Production Control and MMIS to meet operational targets.
• Ensure parts availability, timely maintenance completion and optimal machine performance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and risk controls.
• Identify, monitor and report departmental risks and discrepancies.
• Maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships and resolve operational issues.
• Represent the department in stakeholder meetings and report relevant matters to management.
• Manage employee performance, appraisals, development, training and employee relations.
• Assist with budgeting and prepare cost reports.
• Monitor expenditure against budget and identify opportunities for cost reduction and resource optimisation.

Salary Bracket
R450 000 to R575 000 per annum CTC, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current / previous package
