About the position

Postion Summary:
iThemba LABS seeks to appoint a Secretary, the incumbent will be responsible for comprehensive professional and efficient secretarial/administrative support, as well as the day-to-day running of the department and handing sensitive and confidential issues in a professional and objective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Secretarial Support to finance team
• Logistics and event coordination
• Communication & Reporting to Stakeholders
• Administrative Support

Minimum Qualification:

• Diploma / Advanced Certificate / NQF 6

Minimum Experience:

• 3-5 years

• Grade 12Secretarial Diploma/Certificate or equivalent

Experience:

• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a secretarial function Computer Literate with MS Office packagesProficient in written and verbal communicationAccurate minute taking ability

Knowledge:

• Familiarity with public sector procurement processesExperience in a technical environment Familiar with collaborative documentation
