About the position

Postion Summary:
SARAO is looking for a high performing graduate to join the internship programme, which offers an opportunity to acquire skills and practical work experience in supply chain management and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Bid administrative related activitiesAssist Contract management and administrationAssist with issuing of purchase ordersCompile RFQ using correct templateAssist with Evaluation and communicating with the end userAssist with circulation of evaluation reports for signing/approvalIdentify and follow up with the suppliers for long outstanding order

Minimum Qualification:

• Diploma / Advanced Certificate / NQF 6

Minimum Experience:

• 0-1 years

• NQF Level 6, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related qualification

Experience:

• MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Public Sector SCM, NT regulations,National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)Knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Purchasing Management Knowledge in Demand Management
