About the position

Desired Past Experience:

Three (3) years' experience in aquaculture research with a focus on both practical and academic environments.

• Proven ability in designing and compiling Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), with experience in training staff and students on their implementation. Demonstrate experience in supervising diverse teams, including Work Integrated Learning Students (WIL), junior staff and Advanced Diploma students.
• Lecturing experience in aquaculture related modules, with involvement in curriculum development.
• Practical experience in live production including both phyto and zooplankton culture techniques.
• Strong background in data management and reporting.

Qualifications:

• National Diploma / Advanced Diploma Marine Science
• BSc Natural Sciences / Aquatic Sciences
• SACNASP Registration
• Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
