About the position

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Consultant to support analytics and data platform solutions across SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis for Office (AFO), and SAP Datasphere. The role focuses on development, support, integration, and continuous improvement of SAP analytics environments within an agile delivery model.



Key Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and deploy SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards and models
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for SAC, AFO, and SAP Datasphere (incident and problem resolution)
  • Manage and coordinate change requests, transports, and system upgrades
  • Monitor system performance and ensure stability across analytics platforms
  • Create and maintain technical, functional, and user documentation
  • Support testing activities including unit, integration, and regression testing
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including SAP Basis and application teams
  • Drive adoption of analytics tools and improve business reporting capabilities
  • Assist with go-live preparation and provide post-go-live support
  • Support user administration, system connections, and data integration across SAP and non-SAP systems

RequirementsEssential Skills


  • Strong experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (development, modelling, and administration)
  • Solid knowledge of Analysis for Office (AFO)
  • Experience integrating SAC with other SAP systems
  • Proficiency in SAP Datasphere development and data modelling
  • Ability to troubleshoot incidents and implement changes
  • Experience with SAP transports and SAP Notes
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments


Advantageous Skills


  • SAP BW / BW4HANA / BW on HANA development experience
  • SAP HANA and ABAP knowledge
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager
  • Data modelling methodologies (e.g. LSA, LSA++)
  • Cloud platform exposure (AWS or Azure)
  • Debugging and performance tuning skills
  • Experience across additional SAP modules
  • German language skills (beneficial)

Qualifications & Experience


  • Relevant IT qualification
  • 5+ years’ experience in SAP Analytics Cloud
  • 5+ years’ experience in Analysis for Office
  • 5+ years’ experience in SAP BW environments
  • Experience in SAP Datasphere
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience in testing (unit, integration, security)
