About the position

Our client is looking for a Group SAP Support Administrator to join their team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Resolving level 1 support issues (queries/requests) on the helpdesk, from SAP Support in the various regions, in a timely manner
  • Managing and keeping track of the helpdesk
  • Responding to and actioning queries/requests where possible, or assigning more complex issues to relevant parties
  • Maintaining a detailed schedule of internal and external SAP tickets including description, status and time spent
  • Performing complex data analysis in support of standing or ad hoc requests
  • Evaluating data quality, applications and functions
  • Managing general SAP housekeeping in ensuring that any incomplete transactions and irrelevant or outdated information in the SAP system are addressed
  • Supporting regional SAP support persons with queries relating to the day-to-day running of SAP transactions and analysis of SAP information
  • Working and collaborating with business partners (Regional SAP support and other departments as needed) to analyse root cause for data defects
  • Understanding and integrating company strategies, goals and objectives into all data activities
  • Any other duties reasonably requested

Requirements:

  • B.Com or Information Technology Degree
  • General accounting knowledge
  • SAP knowledge is preferential
  • Be highly computer literate (specifically Excel)
  • Experience with technical documentation, charts / graphs, process mapping and flow charts
  • Experience in problem solving skills and root cause analysis - identifying problems, exploring, analysing, formulating solutions
  • Strong administrative skills including high attention to detail
