We are looking for a SAP Principal Consultant to join our financial services client based in Sandton for a 6-months contract role.
We are seeking an experienced SAP Principal Consultant to bring deep technical expertise and strategic insight across multiple SAP projects. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define priorities, and deliver tailored SAP solutions that meet business needs. You will play a key role in systems analysis, solution design, development, support, and maintenance, while contributing to SAP architecture and system integration strategies.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP GRC Access Control 12.0 and SAP IAG.
- Engage directly with clients to understand business needs and deliver SAP solutions across the landscape.
- Manage SAP security across multiple modules including BI/BW, FI, HCM, SuccessFactors, and GRC.
- Design and build complex roles using PFCG, incorporating advanced restrictions and RSECADMIN.
- Perform user and authorization maintenance using LSMW and custom scripts.
- Conduct SAP security technical audits and provide advisory on process evaluations.
- Maintain and update authorization objects and transaction codes via SU24.
- Administer user access provisioning through CUA.
- Produce and analyze reports using SUIM and relevant SAP security tables (AGR, USR), including custom queries.
- Support troubleshooting efforts using SU53, SM19/20, and ST01.
- Create and deliver monthly audit reports.
- Collaborate with functional teams and developers to provide technical support and configuration insights.
- Assist in security gap analysis, defect management, and risk mitigation.
What we are looking for:
- Completed IT / BSc degree or other related fields
- 5 years experience as SAP Consultant
- Strong expertise in SAP Authorizations, Access Management, and Role-Based Permissions (SAP SuccessFactors).
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP GRC, SAP IAG, SAP HCM, and other SAP applications.
