About the position
We are looking for an experienced SAP PP & MES Consultant to join their international IT team and support the implementation and optimisation of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across their global manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse manufacturing business processes and gather requirements.
- Configure and support SAP PP and MES solutions.
- Design and maintain SAP-to-MES integrations.
- Support system testing, troubleshooting and user training.
- Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams and business stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing systems and processes.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an SAP PP Consultant.
- Minimum 2 years' experience implementing or supporting MES solutions.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within an international team.
- Valid passport (or willingness to apply immediately).
- Willingness to travel to Belgium for onboarding, training and occasional project work (typically once per year).
Advantageous- SAP certification.
- Experience with global SAP or MES implementations.
- Knowledge of OEE, shop floor automation and manufacturing quality systems.
- Experience working with international stakeholders.
