About the position
The SAP Payroll Consultant will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Payroll solutions as part of the broader SAP transformation initiative, including S/4HANA and SuccessFactors deployment. The role requires deep functional knowledge of payroll processes, compliance with local legislation, and integration with other SAP modules.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a SAP Payroll Consultant.
- Must have successfully delivered at least three (3) full-cycle SAP Payroll implementations, in either SAP HCM or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
- Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting end-to-end SAP Payroll solutions, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Strong functional expertise in payroll schemas, wage types, time evaluation integration, and payroll posting to Finance.
Experience Skill:
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing, testing, reconciliation, and post-payroll activities.
- Strong knowledge of country-specific payroll requirements, especially relevant to the client’s regions of operation.
- Experience integrating Payroll with modules such as Time Management, Personnel Administration, and Finance.
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll, including hybrid deployment models.
- Capable of preparing functional specifications and working with technical teams on custom developments.
- Ability to support parallel runs, UAT, training, and post-go-live activities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Certification:
Must hold at least one of the following certifications:
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP HCM for SAP S/4HANA
Mandatory:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a SAP Payroll Consultant.
- Must have successfully delivered 3 full-cycle payroll implementations (SAP HCM or EC Payroll).
- Must have experience with payroll schema configuration, wage types, and integration with Finance.
- Must hold at least one of the listed SAP Payroll-related certifications.
