About the position
The SAP Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between SAP R/3 ECC6 EHP7, SAP S/4 HANA, and various external systems. The role involves providing both technical and functional support, configuring workflows, and ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment across integrated platforms.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and implement integration solutions between SAP systems (R/3 ECC6 EHP7 and S/4 HANA) and external systems.
· Configure and maintain workflows within specified SAP modules to meet business requirements.
· Provide technical and functional support for SAP integrations, ensuring system reliability and performance.
· Perform maintenance services, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and system optimizations.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business processes.
· Document integration processes, configurations, and workflows for future reference and compliance.
Required Experience
The candidate must have proven experience in integrating SAP systems with the following tools/systems:
IBM Tools/Systems
· FileNet: Integration for document management and content repository processes.
· Maximo: Integration for asset management and maintenance workflows.
Microsoft Tools/Systems
· EPM (Microsoft Project): Integration for project management and resource planning.
· SharePoint Tool: Integration for collaboration, document sharing, and workflow automation.
· BizTalk Tool: Integration for enterprise application integration and process orchestration.
Other Systems
· Quantum - Treasury System: Integration for financial and treasury operations.
· Infoslips – E-Payslip: Integration for electronic payslip generation and distribution.
· Signify – HR and LMS: Integration for human resources and learning management system processes.
· ACL Robotics: Integration for robotic process automation and data analytics.
Oracle Systems
· Oracle Billing System: Integration for billing and financial transaction processing.
Technical Skills
· Expertise in SAP R/3 ECC6 EHP7 and SAP S/4 HANA, including configuration and customization.
· Proficiency in SAP integration tools and technologies (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI, ABAP, RFC, IDOC, OData, and Web Services).
· Strong understanding of workflow configuration within SAP modules.
· Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., BizTalk, SAP PI/PO) for system integrations.
· Knowledge of APIs, REST, SOAP, and other integration protocols.
· Familiarity with data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques.
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues efficiently.
Functional Skills
· Ability to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
· Strong understanding of business processes in finance, HR, asset management, and project management.
· Experience in providing functional support for SAP modules and integrated systems.
· Excellent documentation and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Project Scope
· Work on a project involving the provision of technical and functional support and maintenance services for SAP R/3 ECC6 EHP7 and SAP S/4 HANA.
· Ensure seamless integration and data consistency across all specified systems.
· Configure workflows within SAP modules to support business processes.
· Provide ongoing maintenance and optimization of integration solutions.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP integration projects.
· SAP certifications (e.g., SAP PI/PO, ABAP, or S/4 HANA) are highly desirable.
· Proven track record of successful integrations with IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, and other third-party systems.
