Our client is a market-leading organization in the retail and pharmaceutical space, dedicated to innovation, operational excellence, and delivering high-quality customer experiences. With a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation underway, they are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Architect to lead and shape the integration landscape.
Role Overview
As the SAP Integration Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the integration architecture for the client’s SAP S/4HANA landscape. You will play a key role in connecting SAP with internal systems and external partners, ensuring robust, scalable, and future-ready integration solutions.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end integration strategies for SAP S/4HANA across the enterprise.
- Define integration patterns, principles, and best practices for SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to understand integration needs.
- Work closely with SAP Basis, Functional, and Technical teams to ensure seamless integration between modules and systems.
- Provide architecture oversight for integration tools such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), and APIs.
- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and industry standards.
- Guide the migration of legacy interfaces to modern integration platforms.
- Deliver technical documentation and support integration testing activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in SAP architecture and integration, with at least 3 years focused on S/4HANA.
- Proven experience in the retail or pharmaceutical industries, ideally both.
- Deep knowledge of SAP integration tools and technologies including:
- SAP PI/PO
- SAP CPI
- IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and APIs
- Experience with integration scenarios involving third-party applications, cloud platforms, and e-commerce solutions.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules relevant to retail operations (e.g., SD, MM, Retail Master Data, CAR, F&R).
- Familiarity with modern integration and middleware technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certified Technology or Integration Architect.
- Experience with cloud platforms (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS).
- Prior experience in large-scale retail transformation programs.
