About Our Client:
Our client is a professional management consultancy and IT services provider, focused on delivering creative and innovative digital solutions. Their client base includes both startups and large corporations, but their mission remains the same: to provide excellent support in the design, development, and implementation of digital products that drive value and transformation.
What you will be doing:
- Support the ongoing SAP HCM implementation and enhancement for a major public-sector utilities project.
- Collaborate with a remote team servicing end clients in Germany.
- Engage in configuration, support, testing, and rollout activities across SAP HCM modules.
- Provide expertise in Personnel Administration, Organisational Management, Time Management, or Payroll.
- Contribute to SAP ABAP development tasks related to HCM, including custom reports, enhancements (user exits, BADIs), and interfaces.
- Development and maintenance of HR Forms and HR-specific infotypes.
- Support for SAP Scripts / SmartForms and workflow design where applicable.
- Work closely with the functional team to translate requirements into technical specifications and implement scalable solutions.
What our client is looking for:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP HCM in both functional and technical capacities.
- Proven ABAP development experience within SAP HCM, including enhancements and interface development would be great
- Experience working in a remote, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 2 days/week, with flexibility to scale up to full-time.
- Familiarity with public sector or utilities projects is an advantage.
Contract Details:
- 100% remote work from anywhere in South Africa.
- Paid in Euros.
- Flexible schedule: 2-3 days/week, with the option to expand to 5 days/week.
- 6-month initial contract with a high chance of extension.
- Join a growing remote SAP team with other professionals already operating from Cape Town, as the project aims to scale to 100+ consultants.
